Everybody Wants Some!! – la recensione

Texas, 1980. Negli Stati Uniti ancora culturalmente e visivamente immersi fino al collo negli anni ’70, Jake (Blake Jenner) è una giovanissima matricola appena arrivata nella casa che condividerà con i compagni di squadra del college, a cui è stato ammesso grazie alle sue doti sportive.
Il film ripercorre in una sorta di countdown sempre più incalzante gli ultimi 7 giorni di libertà e i primi 7 di permanenza nella nuova realtà scolastica e sociale, come membro della squadra di baseball, matricola e stella sportiva di Jake. Il ragazzo verrà presto svezzato insieme agli altri novellini dai veterani della squadra a una vita di goliardia, bevute, festini, ragazze dagli shorts striminziti e un continuo senso di competizione nel gruppo.

Scritta e diretta da Richard Linklater, questa sequela infinita di sfide fisiche, smargiassate alcoliche e ragazze dalle lunghe gambe che spuntano dagli shorts, sembra presto una ripetizione infinita della scrtruttura e divertente e trascinante solo sul momento. Alla critica è piaciuto moltissimo, ma ci chiediamo se sarà dare qualcosa anche al pubblico del film settimana, oltre a una settimana di bagordi pre-universitari.


Everybody Wants Some!! sarà nei cinema italiani a partire dal 16 giugno 2016w.
