MILANO – Il vicepresidente di Regione Lombardia Fabrizio Sala è intervenuto all’incontro del ministro dell’Università e della Ricerca Gaetano Manfredi che ieri ha incontrato a Milano i quattordici Rettori degli atenei lombardi. “Tutto il sistema regionale, non solo Regione Lombardia quindi, sono sicuro che scriverà la storia sulla pandemia che abbiamo dovuto fronteggiare: una storia positiva – ha detto il vicepresidente Sala – che probabilmente le cronache attuali ancora non conoscono ma che grazie al lavoro soprattutto della parte universitaria e della ricerca riuscirà a dare dati e indicazioni utili per il mondo intero. Così come stanno facendo tuttora il nostro sistema sanitario ospedaliero, tutti i nostri ricercatori e gli studenti”.
“Sappiamo quanto sia importante la ricerca – ha aggiunto Fabrizio Sala – e siamo consapevoli che la vera sconfitta di queste pandemie passa attraverso la ricerca e quindi noi possiamo proteggerci”. All’incontro ha partecipato anche l’assessore regionale all’Istruzione, Formazione e Lavoro Melania Rizzoli. “La Lombardia è terra di destinazione di studenti anche di altre regioni. Oltre il 30% degli immatricolati – ha spiegato Rizzoli – proviene da fuori regione e l’8% dall’estero. In più, quasi il 50% degli aventi diritto alle borse di studio proviene da fuori regioni. Ciò significa che attraiamo anche i più bravi”. “A fronte di questo successo però – ha proseguito Rizzoli – i criteri di riparto del Fondo Integrativo Statale non premiano il sistema Lombardo. Negli ultimi due anni abbiamo dovuto integrare i fondi statali con risorse regionali per arrivare a coprire almeno l’80% degli aventi diritto alla borsa”. “Faremo la nostra parte – ha concluso – soprattutto per rivedere i criteri di riparto”.
