Coronavirus, vicepresidente Sala: da app allertaLOM utili indicazioni su contagio

MILANO – Oltre 1,3 milioni di app scaricate, 4,5 milioni di questionari compilati. Questi i numeri raggiunti da “allertaLOM” l’app di Regione Lombardia al cui interno si trova il questionario relativo al progetto ‘CercaCovid’. Ne ha parlato il vicepresidente di Regione Lombardia e assessore alla Ricerca, innovazione, università, export e internazionalizzazione delle imprese Fabrizio Sala intervenuto l’altro giorno alla diretta Facebook di Lombardia notizie online.

“La nostra app è molto importante – ha spiegato il vicepresidente Sala – perchè ci fornisce una mappa aggiornata del rischio contagio da coronavirus. E’ utile per prendere decisioni, perché i dati raccolti sono a disposizione di medici e scienziati che possono darci indicazioni preziose nell’interesse dei cittadini”.
Alla diretta è intervenuto anche Raffaele Bruno, direttore Malattie Infettive del San Matteo di Pavia, che ha esortato i cittadini lombardi a continuare a scaricare l’app – disponibile gratuitamente sulle piattaforme Ios e Android – e a compilare i questionari in modo da disporre di un quadro sempre più aggiornato e dettagliato”. “Il monitoraggio in tempo reale – ha detto ancora il vicepresidente Sala è fondamentale per la previsione e il contenimento di eventuali nuovi focolai di Covid 19″. “Se sempre più persone scaricano la app sul proprio smartphone e aggiornano il questionario, anche se non hanno sintomi – ha precisato Fabrizio Sala – riusciamo a intervenire prima di entrare in lockdown. E’ uno degli strumenti che ci aiuta a prevenire il contagio”.

Il vicepresidente ha anche illustrato i grafici elaborati in base agli esiti dei questionari compilati dai cittadini lombardi che  partecipano al progetto “CercaCovid”‘. La diffusione del contagio, in base ai sintomi indicati da chi aggiorna il questionario, risulta ancora critica all’inizio del mese di aprile, subisce un decremento in maggio e cala ulteriormente in giugno.
