VARESE – I Mastini Varese archiviano, forse più facilmente del previsto, una pratica che poteva essere insidiosa, chiudendo 9 a 2 la pratica Alleghe. Fin dai primi minuti la sfida si è incanalate sui binari giusti per la formazione di casa.
La squadra agordina si presenta a Varese con alcune assenze pesanti in seguito ad alcuni infortuni e impegni che hanno tenuto qualche giocatore agordino lontano dalla trasferta varesina. Parte bene il Varese. Subito riesce a mettere buona pressione alla difesa biancorossa costringendo le Civette a giocare di rimessa. Dopo pochi istanti Vanetti, lanciato tutto solo, sbaglia mira. Il palo tintinna due volte al minuto 6: i Mastini in doppia superiorità numerica sul ghiaccio trovano lo spazio, con Perna, per andare alla conclusione, la quale viene deviata dal montante, ma anche la correzione di M. Mazzacane termina sulla base rossa della porta e poi De Silvestro ha buon gioco bloccando il puck. Il vantaggio è nell’aria e matura al 7’00” grazie ad una discesa di Perna che propone per l’accorrente Raimondi il cui tocco va sulla traversa, ma questa volta la correzione dello stesso capitano è vincente. Il raddoppio non arriva grazie al bravo goalie agordino che ribatte una conclusione di Vanetti a botta sicura. Arriviamo all’11’49 e descriviamo il raddoppio varesino: E. Mazzacane lancia Franchini, volata del canadese che prima finta il tiro, poi decide per l’aggiramento della gabbia avversaria e quando sbuca dall’altra parte infila il disco sotto l’incrocio. L’Alleghe non riesce a reagire e se non capitola nuovamente molto merito va al portiere De Silvestro. Prima della prima sirena un paio di tentativi di Veggiato e uno di Dell’Osbel sono ben parati da Menguzzato.
Il secondo drittel vede un inizio in cui gli ospiti provano a essere un po’ più incisivi, ma una penalità offre ai gialloneri la possibilità dell’uomo in più, che però non ha successo. Quando la situazione si ribalta, al 25’40”, Perna parte in contropiede, attende l’arrivo di Vanetti, gli serve il puck centralmente, l’attaccante varesino mette a sedere il portiere e lo supera. Tris varesino con l’uomo in meno. Trascorrono pochi istanti e i Mastini calano il poker, ancora in inferiorità. L’Alleghe perde il disco sulla linea blu di attacco, Perna si invola verso De Silvestro, finta, controfinta e puck in porta rasoghiaccio da destra a sinistra. L’Alleghe cambia il portiere, ma dopo un paio di buone parate, il neo entrato Zanardi capitola al minuto 32’40” per merito di Franchini, intelligentemente servito da M. Mazzacane.
Il terzo tempo ha mostrato ancora buone trame di gioco, dimostrando ciò che si è visto nei primi due tempi. Tutti belli i gol realizzati, ben orchestrati soprattutto dalla linea composta da Franchini, M. Mazzacane e Andreoni. Molte le occasioni e le situazioni di gioco pericolose create davanti alla gabbia avversaria. La formazione ospite ha pagato a caro prezzo le assenze di giocatori importanti e chiave per il gioco biancorosso, soprattutto in difesa, anche se l’assenza di Monferone in attacco si è sentita. Purtroppo per le Civette i problemi ambientali che hanno caratterizzato il territorio nelle scorse settimane hanno influito probabilmente anche sugli allenamenti e sulla condizione fisica della squadra. Dall’altra parte i Mastini hanno mostrato buon gioco, attenzione e dedizione, mostrando una buona crescita complessiva, anche se la strada è ancora lunga.
Il prossimo impegno dei Mastini sarà sabato prossimo, 24 novembre, in Alto Adge, sul difficile ghiaccio di Ora, dove i gialloneri hanno sempre sofferto negli ultimi anni.
