Oscar Green: l’agricoltura prealpina è giovane e scommette su creatività e innovazione

VARESE – Sono aperte le iscrizioni al concorso “Oscar Green 2020”. Giunto alla sua quattordicesima edizione, ha come finalità premiare le idee innovative dei giovani agricoltori. “Innovatori di Natura” è il titolo scelto per l’edizione di quest’anno, per la quale si annuncia la presenza dei giovani imprenditori agricoli del Varesotto. “In provincia di Varese il peso delle aziende agricole di nuova generazione sul totale di quelle attive è significativo: i giovani tornano a fare gli agricoltori e anche a prendersi cura del territorio, dalla campagna al bosco” afferma Fernando Fiori, presidente della Coldiretti provinciale. “Anche l’innovazione nel campo agroalimentare vede i nostri giovani investiti di un ruolo molto importante. Insomma, se l’agricoltura riesce ad affrontare l’emergenza Coronavirus in queste settimane e a sfamare il Paese, lo deve anche ai “suoi” giovani che su di essa hanno investito e fatto una scelta di vita”. “Oscar Green è un’iniziativa di rilievo nazionale – afferma il leader di Giovani Impresa Coldiretti Varese, Enrico Montonati (nella foto) – che si prefigge come obiettivo quello di premiare i progetti di giovani che, coniugando tradizione e innovazione, collaborano alla realizzazione di un modello agricolo sostenibile dal punto di vista economico, sociale ed ambientale. Un occhio di riguardo sarà riservato ai progetti che avranno come obiettivo la tutela e l’arricchimento del territorio”.

“Obiettivo di Oscar Green – riprende Fiori – è promuovere l’agricoltura sana del nostro Paese che ha come testimonial le tante idee innovative dei giovani agricoltori. E’ una competizione positiva, inclusiva, che sa unire e incentivare il confronto: innovando creatività e tradizione, i nostri giovani hanno modo di scambiarsi esperienze e idee vincenti e da ciò ne trae beneficio lo sviluppo dell’intera agricoltura futura. La creatività è un valore aggiunto, la tradizione rappresenta valori e principi in cui trova origine e prospettiva il nostro mondo rurale. Il successo che negli anni ha distinto questa iniziativa è stata la grande partecipazione dei giovani che hanno scelto d’investire il proprio futuro nell’agricoltura, come dimostrano i dati di un “ritorno alla terra” che rende unico il nostro Paese nell’Unione Europea. Una vera “svolta green” sotto ogni punto di vista. Per molti giovani può anche essere un’occasione per far conoscere la loro idea da Oscar”. Impresa 5.Terra: premia i progetti di quelle giovani aziende agroalimentari che creano una cultura d’impresa esemplare, riuscendo a incanalare creatività, originalità e grande abilità progettuale per lo sviluppo e la crescita dell’agricoltura italiana attraverso, tra l’altro, l’applicazione di nuove tecnologie.
Campagna amica: nuove forme di vendita, rivolte ai progetti che valorizzano i prodotti tipici italiani su scala locale, nazionale e mondiale rispondendo alle esigenze dei consumatori in termini di sicurezza alimentare, qualità e tutela ambientale.

Sostenibilità ambientale: possono partecipare a questa categoria le imprese che lavorano e producono in modo ecosostenibile nel rispetto dei principi di economia circolare riducendo al minimo la produzione di rifiuti, risparmiando energia e materiali attraverso processi che tutelano l’ambiente.

Fare rete: categoria rivolta a progetti promossi nell’ambito di partenariati variegati, che coniugano agricoltura e tecnologia così come artigianato tradizionale e mondo digitale, arrivando fino agli ambiti del turismo, del design e di ricerca accademica.

Noi per il sociale: categoria rivolta ai progetti che si distinguono per la capacità di trasformare idee innovative in servizi e prodotti destinati a soddisfare esigenze generali e al tempo stesso creare valore economico e, soprattutto, sociale. Oltre alle imprese agricole, possono partecipare Enti Pubblici, Cooperative e Consorzi capaci di creare sinergia con realtà agricole a fini sociali.

Creatività: intende premiare la creatività di idea, che apporti un’innovazione di prodotto o di processo in grado di aiutare l’azienda a produrre in modo più efficiente, andando incontro a una domanda di mercato sempre più variegata ed eterogenea.
