ROMA – Il Presidente Uncem, l’Unione dei comuni montani, Marco Bussone, negli ultimi giorni ha incontrato numerosi Sindaci dei 120 Comuni coinvolti nell’attuazione del Piano nazionale 5G. Per decisione AGCom infatti, oltre alle grandi città, gli operatori dovranno dare il servizio tra il 2019 e il 2020 anche in 120 piccoli Comuni. Non una sperimentazione, bensì uno specifico intervento per ridurre il digital divide. Bussone ne ha parlato anche stamani intervenendo alla trasmissione Rai “Mi manda Raitre”, dove diversi esperti invitati da Salvo Sottile hanno confermato che il 5G rappresenta un’opportunità anche per le aree interne e montane del Paese.
Tra gli Amministratori sono circolate negli ultimi mesi moltissime notizie false, sui possibili effetti dei nuovi ripetitori. L’ISTISAN con il suo ultimo rapporto, sgombra il campo. “L’Istituto Superiore di Sanità blocca ogni bufala e tutte le fake news su 5G, radiofrequenze, WiFi, uso dei cellulari e relativi problemi per la salute. Basta leggere il rapporto, dal titolo ‘Esposizione a radiofrequenze e tumori: sintesi delle evidenze scientifiche’ per avere un quadro chiaro e scientifico. Uncem sceglie la scienza e i documenti del più autorevole Istituto del Paese. Perché abbiamo a cuore la salute di tutti, degli uomini, dell’ambiente, degli ecosistemi, della flora e della fanuna. Uncem lavora per ridurre il divario digitale e tutti i gap strutturali che impediscono sviluppo, investimenti, adeguatezza dell’offerta economica, generando spopolamento e desertificazione sui territori in particolare alpini e appenninici”.
Nel rapporto dell’Istituto Superiore di Sanità si legge che “in base alle evidenze epidemiologiche attuali, l’uso del cellulare non risulta associato all’incidenza di neoplasie nelle aree più esposte alle radiofrequenze durante le chiamate vocali”. La meta-analisi dei numerosi studi pubblicati nel periodo 1999-2017 non rileva infatti – è scritto nel report – incrementi dei rischi di tumori maligni (glioma) o benigni (meningioma, neuroma acustico, tumori delle ghiandole salivari) in relazione all’uso prolungato dei telefoni mobili.
Ancora dalla sintesi del Rapporto: “Gli impianti per telecomunicazione sono aumentati nel tempo ma l’intensità dei segnali trasmessi è diminuita con il passaggio dai sistemi analogici a quelli digitali. Gli impianti WiFi hanno basse potenze e cicli di lavoro intermittenti cosicché, nelle case e nelle scuole in cui sono presenti danno luogo a livelli di radiofrequenze molto inferiori ai limiti ambientali vigenti. La maggior parte della dose quotidiana di energia a radiofrequenze deriva dall’uso del cellulare. L’efficienza della rete condiziona l’esposizione degli utenti perché la potenza di emissione del telefonino durante l’uso è tanto minore quanto migliore è la copertura fornita dalla stazione radio base più vicina. Inoltre, la potenza media per chiamata di un cellulare connesso ad una rete 3G o 4G (Umts o Lte) è 100-500 volte inferiore a quella di un dispositivo collegato ad una rete 2G (GSM 900-1800 MHz). Ulteriori drastiche riduzioni dell’esposizione si ottengono con l’uso di auricolari o viva-voce. In modalità stand-by, il telefonino emette segnali di brevissima durata ad intervalli di ore, con un contributo trascurabile all’esposizione personale. Per quanto riguarda le future reti 5G, al momento non è possibile prevedere i livelli ambientali di radiofrequenze associati allo sviluppo dell’Internet delle Cose (Iot). Le emittenti aumenteranno, ma avranno potenze medie inferiori a quelle degli impianti attuali e la rapida variazione temporale dei segnali dovuta all’irradiazione indirizzabile verso l’utente comporterà un’ulteriore riduzione dei livelli medi di campo nelle aree circostanti”.
“Non accettiamo strumentalizzazioni da parte di chi non rappresenta Istituti scientifici autorevoli e riconosciuti dallo Stato e cerca solo visibilità – sottolinea Bussone – Con le imprese e le Istituzioni, Regione e Mise in particolare, con associazioni come Anfov e Asstel Confindustria, proseguiamo un attento lavoro attorno a 5G, reti WiFi e in fibra ottica grazie al Piano Bul, nuovi servizi per attuare anche nelle aree interne e montane l’Agenda digitale. Il Rapporto ISTISAN è chiarissimo e per noi è il punto di riferimento unico”.
