MILANO – “Il 10 luglio raggiungeremo i 10 milioni di somministrazioni”. Lo ha annunciato il presidente della Regione Lombardia, Attilio Fontana, durante la conferenza stampa convocata oggi a Milano per fare il punto sulla campagna vaccinale cui hanno partecipato anche la vicepresidente e assessore al Welfare, Letizia Moratti, l’assessore alla Protezione civile e Urbanistica, Pietro Foroni e il coordinatore della campagna
vaccinale, Guido Bertolaso.
“Sono fiero ed orgoglioso dell’andamento della campagna – ha
detto Fontana – e a oggi abbiamo effettuato oltre 7,7 milioni di somministrazioni e più di 1 lombardo su 4 ha completato il ciclo vaccinazioni”. “Il traguardo del 10 luglio – ha aggiunto – sarà un grande risultato e come presidente della Regione Lombardia voglio ringraziare tutti coloro che hanno contribuito a raggiungerlo. Guido Bertolaso in primis che con la sua grinta e tenacia è riuscito a mettere in piedi una perfetta organizzazione; la vice presidente Moratti, lo staff tecnico delle direzione generale Welfare e Protezione civile e tutto quello tecnico e amministrativo delle nostre Ats e Asst”. Il presidente ha poi ringraziato tutti i medici, infermieri, volontari “che hanno lavorato incessantemente, nonostante già messi duramente alla prova dalla gestione della pandemia, e infine soprattutto grazie ai nostri cittadini che stanno mostrando un grande senso di responsabilità sottoponendosi alla vaccinazione, pur tra comunicazioni nazionali a volte confondenti”. Grazie all’avanzamento della vaccinazione i dati di diffusione del covid 19 evidenziano una situazione in continuo miglioramento. “Oggi al consueto monitoraggio settimanale della cabina di Iss e Ministero della Salute – ha detto ancora Fontana – il tasso di incidenza per 100.000 abitanti è 15,6 ; l’Rt 0,67 e soprattutto i nostri ospedali tirano il fiato con il tasso di occupazione dei posti letto sceso al 7 % nelle terapie intensive e all’8 per cento in area medica. Dati che ci fanno guardare al futuro con ottimismo e che qualche mese fa parevano irraggiungibili. Dobbiamo proseguire su questa strada, convincere e coinvolgere le persone che ancora non hanno aderito alla vaccinazione”.
E poi un piccolo appello alla prudenza. “Molte restrizioni – ha concluso il governatore – sono state eliminate, il prossimo mese
di luglio si potrà eliminare la mascherina all’aperto. Non
dobbiamo pero’ dimenticare che anche se in misura minore il virus circola ancora e soprattutto con la variante indiana, soprattutto in luoghi chiusi e tra persone non conviventi e vaccinate, è quindi indispensabile continuare ad osservare il
distanziamento. Cosi’ come e’ atto di responsabilita’ sottoporsi a
test qualora si entri in contatto con persone che contraggono il
virus e osservare tutte le regole previste, compreso l’isolamento. Piu’ saremo responsabili, piu’ terremo sotto controllo il virus e potremo godere della liberta’ di cui a lungo siamo stati privati”.
