MILANO – “Il fondo previsto dal Governo per il sostegno al trasporto pubblico per i danni da coronavirus assomiglia a una tragica presa in giro. I 500 milioni previsti dal “Decreto legge rilancio” coprono a malapena un terzo delle perdite per le imprese del settore stimate per il 2020 in almeno 1,5 miliardi a livello nazionale, secondo le analisi delle associazioni di categoria”. Lo hanno detto gli assessori ai Trasporti di Lombardia (Claudia Maria Terzi), Veneto (Elisa De Berti), Piemonte (Marco Gabusi), Liguria (Giovanni Berrino) e Friuli Venezia Giulia (Graziano Pizzimenti).

In 2 mesi danni per 600 milioni a livello nazionale – “Lo stanziamento – hanno proseguito gli assessori – è insufficiente addirittura per ristorare i mancati ricavi di questa prima fase dell’emergenza sanitaria. Per i primi due mesi di lockdown il danno economico subito dal trasporto pubblico locale, compreso il servizio ferroviario, a livello nazionale ammonta ad almeno 600 milioni di euro. Se poi il fondo da 500 milioni a livello nazionale dovesse anche includere i rimborsi degli abbonamenti, allora alle aziende resterebbero davvero le briciole. Per rimborsare gli utenti è bene che il Governo preveda un capitolo a parte con risorse importanti”.

Imprese a rischio chiusura – “Come può pensare il Governo – hanno detto ancora gli assessori – di affrontare una crisi di queste dimensioni con soli 500 milioni da dividere per tutte le Regioni? Le imprese del trasporto pubblico locale rischiano di chiudere, con tutto quello che ne consegue in termini di drammi occupazionali per i lavoratori che perderanno il posto e problemi per l’erogazione del servizio. Il Governo rimedi subito, finora abbiamo assistito solo a tentennamenti e vergognosi balletti di cifre. Dall’ipotesi di 800 milioni si è passati rapidamente a 500 milioni a livello nazionale. Le imprese, i lavoratori del settore e gli stessi utenti non meritano tutto questo. Sono in gioco i servizi per i cittadini e tanti posti di lavoro. Il tutto mentre il Gruppo Fs, società statale, ha dichiarato utili nel 2019 per 584 milioni di euro. Il Governo investa una parte di questo tesoretto per integrare il fondo di supporto al settore”.
