Wardaddy (Brad Pitt) guida una compagnia di carristi che sta debellando dalle trappole tedesche le strade che stanno conducendo l’esercito degli alleati a Berlino, cuore della Germania nazista. Compito quasi suicida, data l’inferiorità tecnologica dei carri armati americani e l’ardore con cui i nazisti si ostinano a macchiare di sangue nemico e del proprio ogni metro di terra tedesca. L’arrivo di Norman (Logan Lerman), una giovane recluta che subentra al caduto nell’ultima, drammatica missione, instaura nuove dinamiche all’intero dei 5 che guidano il carroarmato Fury.
Anche se meno innovativo di un piccolo classico recente come Zero Dark Thirty, Fury è una pellicola davvero riuscita del genere, che non mancherà di ammaliare gli amanti dei fim militari. Intenso, realistico, ma non privo di un’estetica interna fatta di sangue, fango e violenza, Fury è una delle migliori uscite di questo giugno.
